It's an orange 1973 Volkswagen Thing. What's are the prices for a decent mechanic to remove some rust from the underbelly of the car and to re-paint it orange..? Any recommendations.What's the usual price range for a body shop to paint your car?
well first thing is it mechanicaly sound?1973 is pretty old ! you will pay anywhere from 1500.00 to 3000.00 for a good paint job. You can go to a maaco shop for about 500.00, but you get what you pay for! if the car has sentimental value to you then i would invest in a good paint job, if not, then a maaco paint job will improve the apearence,maybe an upgrade would be more beneficial to you. good luck hope this helpedWhat's the usual price range for a body shop to paint your car?
Different prices for different shops and locations,,, Paint is also a factor in the price... So I suggest you get out the phone book and start calling for estimates,,, Good Luck
