Has anyone ever gotten a allergic reaction to body paint?

Last night me and my friend wrote all over ourselves with body paint and today we broke out in an extremely itchy rash and our arms are turning slightly purple. should we go see a doctor?Has anyone ever gotten a allergic reaction to body paint?
You may be allergic to cobalt (or blue cobalt). I've never used the stuff but know I'm allergic to it. For this reason I can't get a tattoo, it is a colouring that is used in the ink. There is also balsam of peru which is closely associated with it. You should get a skin test to be on the safe side. I'm allergic to perfume as well, don't rule anything out.Has anyone ever gotten a allergic reaction to body paint?
if the discoloration continues, yes see a doctor. Have the symptoms subsided?

It is very possible to have allergic reaction to body paint, or any chemical that gets into your system through the sweat glands and /or pours

One's skin is quite permeable to numerous substances. People have died from some body paint. One of the problems that occurs is that the skin does not breath and the pours clog and the body can not sweat also.
A person can be allergic to anything. This may be an allergy to an ingredient in the paint or it is could be a chemical irritant causing the rash.

Definitely see a dermatologist. If it is an allergy, you should get patch tested to find out the ingredient that caused it so you can avoid it because chances are it will be in other products you may come in contact with.
A would say a dermatologist, I don't think you need to worry a lot. It's not big deal, hopelly you'll be fine very quickly.
