Cost of a full body paint job and body kit install?

Got a 2005 mustang, want to get body kit installed, louvers, hood, etc. How much would it cost to get thoses installed and then get the whole car painted (from black to red)?Cost of a full body paint job and body kit install?
It would depend on if you already have the parts. If not, the shop will have a mark up on them. Then the labor to install. This includes checking fit and alignment. Then all of the prep work for refinishing. To do a quality job, everything must be removed from any surface that is to be painted. For a proper color change, all of the body panels have to be removed.

To give you an idea, the Roush body kit from us, unpainted and installed costs $1,999.99. Paint costs all come from the man-hours involved in the preparation for paint(sanding,etc). A color change can be very expensive if you want it done right(i.e. engine bay{{you have to remove the engine}}, door jams, trunk, etc.). If you want this done right, you will easily be looking at $10,000 after purchasing the body kit, paying for all the labor and paint to achieve the final product you wish to achieve.


I would suggest finding paint shops in your immediate area and get estimates of what they say to color-change it. Then use the quotes to have them compete over your business, anyone in this economy will jump at the chance to do this for you.

well nice car!! body kits r more expencive the better they r(more durable, easily instaled) hood is gona be expencive, just go to ur aftermarket store they should have some hoods.. for the body kits go online... same with the spoiler...if ur gona do the work ur self its gona be cheap but if u want a shop to do it its gona be expencive. i mean i had neon installed and that cost $150 in a shop(last thing that i ever did in a shop) i cant even imagine how much it would be to install the body kit(its a butt load of work) for the paint job its going to depend on what color u want, but its deff going to be a few grand..i hope u got alot of money!
body kit and hood and louvers about $2400. plus about $450. installation, 2 stage paint ,about $2000. with 1 coat of clear,with no body repair or exotic paint
thousands and thousands body kits are usually not hard to install the painting you can spends over 10 grand on it or under 500 just depends how good you want it to look and last
