The truck is old, but with low miles. We just had cab painted professionally, but we are going to paint the dump body ourselves to save money. The body currently has some rust spots forming on it and the paint is chipping off. I assume the steps are to sand, prime/seal, paint coat, uv coat. Is this correct? What products should I use to make this as simple as possible? Thanks. (by the way, black is the color we are using)How do I paint the dump body of a 87 Chevy Mason Dump?
Sure just make sure it in a clean room or the dust from out side will mess up the paint job.
