Can a body shop spot paint a bumper or does the whole bumper need to be painted to match?

a good painter can give you an undetectable spot repair. i do it all the time. but be warned, most of these mobile ';lot spotter'; companies mainly work for car dealers and give a job that looks good now but not for very long. take it to a reputable body shop.Can a body shop spot paint a bumper or does the whole bumper need to be painted to match?
the body shop paint will work, but you have to ask them for the right paint and you have to have a lot of extra time to take the time and spray very light coats at a time and after each coat compare colors and see how much you have to do it, i've done this for 6 years, good luck!Can a body shop spot paint a bumper or does the whole bumper need to be painted to match?
depends on your car and how old it is.


ofcourse they can spot paint it.


but if your car is an older model they may not have that color any more so its going to be more difficult to match.


but yeah, i wouldnt do the whole bumber just for a spot?
