Whats the easiest way to prep the body for paint?

Im trying to repaint my car and I want a fairly cheap, easy, and simple way to strip off the old paint. Anyone know how?Whats the easiest way to prep the body for paint?
Go to your local auto zone, NAPA, or similar store. Assuming you are wanting to take it down to bare metal...there are spray-on paint removers that will quickly soften the paint so it can be easily wiped/scraped off without a lot of sanding. Be sure to follow directions and mask off anything you want to protect. A couple of questions to a specialist will tell you what brand, etc. will work best for what you want to do. Be sure to tell them about anything you have that is fiberglass or plastic, as some paint removers may damage these materials. Plus, thoroughly clean the area of all residue when you are done so that you have a clean, fresh surface that will accept primer and paint. Good Luck.Whats the easiest way to prep the body for paint?
your old paint can be used as primer, just sand it to get the rough spots and wax off with a fine sandpaper and spray it.you will see the paint dull up when sanding
