How do I prepare a fiberglass dunebuggy body for paint. It has been sitting for years?

sand it down with 220 grit,not too much,dont go down to the glass,use a good epoxy primer sealer,then topcoat with a good urethane, with a flex agent additive,as directed,should turn out ok,if you learn to paintHow do I prepare a fiberglass dunebuggy body for paint. It has been sitting for years?
sand it , wash it with mineral spirits , and primer it , then paint
